Ultrawide gaming with a 950?

I have a 950 gpu and just purchased a new LG 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor. Would you say that could withhold games like GTA, Battlegrounds, NBA2K, etc? Up until around October where I'll purchase a 1060/70.
