I'm looking for an Ultrawide for my PC build that has a GTX1070. I'm stuck between the AOC CU34G2X 34" vs. LG 34GL750-B 34."

Both are 144hz, but I'm worried about the different panel technologies. I mostly play Single Story Player and some Steam Indie games with some Digital Illustration through Photoshop. Which monitor should I go for?

Solution
At 34", I wouldn't consider anything less than 1440p. Given the distance you typically sit from a monitor, 27" is probably about the cutoff (for me, at least) beyond which, you're going to notice pixels.

VA has solid colour reproduction.... not quite on par with IPS, but very close these days.
