I was thinking about doing a triple 23 inch monitor setup, however, I've decided that I want to have a (one-armed) VESA mount like this: http://goo.gl/pGd6La . So unless it is possible to attach the monitors stably so as they physically function as one large monitor, the triple monitor idea is out.

So that's how I decided to go with an ultrawide. I don't think a 29 inch will be large enough (though I wish it were because I found a nice one for $200). That leaves me looking for a 34 inch ultrawide. I would love for it to have a glossy screen (though it is not a must) and less than $500 (ideally closer to $400) new or refurbished. If you somehow manage to find curved in this price range, I will love you forever!

I don't know if any of this is feasible, but could you give me your input?

Thanks!

This is 25 inches. I was hoping for 34.

I suppose it would work if I couldn't find anything better. But do you see how in my link, the mount allows you to move the monitor wherever you want? That's what I want. With the one you linked I would only be able to TILT a little up/down/left/right as opposed to MOVING the monitors up/down/left/right.

edit: well actually, the left and right would move while the middle would be static, but I would want it to function where I move one monitor and the other two move with it so that it looks like just one big movable monitor.
Something like this:

except this thing is $400 and ant that point, I might as well buy the 34 inch ultrawide!
