[SOLVED] Um help needed

I have an intel i5 4460T quad core @ 1.9GHz. I noticed recently when I was playing a CPU Intensive game , the core temperatures were at 70c (all 4 of them). The details say that the Tjmax of the cpu is 66.35c. Does this mean that this is a severe problem ? And , what does tjmax actually mean? Does it refer to the core temperature or something else? This happens every time I play that game. Kindly help.

"Tj max stands for Tjunction Max, Tjunction is another word for core temps. All Intel Core processors have a Tj max with values that vary greatly"

Looking at Intels site it says Tcase for that processor is 66.35 not Tjmax.

However you are running quite hot from my sources (https://safetemp.blogspot.com/2015/12/intel-core-i5-4460-max-temp.html ) Max being 72 degrees.... "as a general rule you have to keep your temps 10-15 degrees lower under load "

Perhaps you applied to little or too much thermal paste? What cooler are you currently using? Do you notice your CPU throttling (downclocking to sustain temps)? What does your idle temps look like?

It is an all in one. Btw my cpu is i5 4460T , and not 4460. The info I checked in msi afterburner showed tjmax as 75c

The idle temperatures are 40c to 45c.

Yea then you are Good. If your idle is that low and your stress is 3 or so degree under you should be fine.
