ok, so i was just browsing the Egg due to boredom and came across a very peculiar graphics card hsf...

i mean, was PNY working a bit late without coffee and put the hsf on backwards...? =P


anyone else think this design is a bit wacked??

Kinda, but it still exhausts air out the back of the GPU. The design of the airflow is just really weird.
But, hey, it has good reviews.

yes it does have good reviews, but id rather get one that actually uses that exhaust feature, not blows that roasting hot air in the case.

Haha nice find. Maybe this is the beginning of a new revolution. Exhaust is going to start coming out the front of cases from now on.

lol! yahh, and the best part is when complete tech idiots put their tech knowledge as high and say something like "...the phenom II 955 is far faster than the Q9650 so i gave the old intel processor to my son..."

yep, I used to have a BFG 9800GTX+ 512 MB DDR3 POWER HOG running in a Dell XPS 410..... also running 4x 1Gb Patriot 667Mhz Ram.....

anyone else think this design is a bit wacked??

haha, yes.... whoever designed this really should get fired..... or maybe he already is.....

And yes it was roasting the inside of the PC.....

2 months later I traded in the 9800GTX for a 250 1Gb :

temps went down a good 10-12c .....
