Have Dell 3000 XP Home. Has no backup program I can use. I know XP Home
does not come w/backup. Yet, it does have a backup utility that only allows
backup to a floppy disk. I have tried following MS's instructions to
extract and install backup from (CD drive):\valueadd\msft\ntbackup but it
does not add backup capability to either the CD or the DVD drives.
Help!
Can you please respond to me at afsprung@att.net, as I have no idea how to
use Outlook?

Using the backup utility you have to backup to hd, then copy the backup to
cd
Or you could buy a dedicated backup app, which will allow you to backup to
any location
