Unable to boot-up pc with video card installed...PLEASE HELP!

I recently built a gaming desktop and decided to go with the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard, and the MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G. After building the pc I had no issues with it running until today when my computer randomly shut down while I was in a game. Afterwards, I was unable to boot-up my pc again so I was troubleshooting and found out that when I removed my graphics card, that is the only way my PC would turn on. Please Help... I would be surprised if my graphics card already died given I have had it for 2 weeks already and it worked perfectly before. Open to any suggestions.
