Unable to connect my Laptop to internet through LAN or WAN

Hello,
I am unable to connect my laptop(Acer,Windows7,32bits) to internet because it is showing that the LAN driver is not recognized. I tried downloading it but even after that nothing worked out. Please if anyone can help me to sort out this problem.I had downloaded 4047Z driver.
