unable to connect smart tv to laptop

I have a LG smart tv that I always was able to "project" from my laptop until I upgraded to WIndows 10. Now, it recognizes the signal from my PC, but goes no further.

If these doesn't work, do try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver first.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics driver.
- Open Programs and Features and uninstalling anything related to your graphics card.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Once installed reboot your laptop then test it again after it reboots.

Thank you but as I wrote, I use Windows 10. I know how it is supposed to be done, it just doesn't work.
