Unable to connect to game servers all of a sudden

Hello,
Please help! For the past week or so, I have been unable to connect to ANY game servers. (Fortnite, GTA, Apex Legends), and this came right out of the blue. For almost a year I've been able to play these games and all of a sudden one day something went wrong.

I have tried absolutely everything on every single forum to fix this!!! I don't know what to do!!!

If web servers etc still work then your internet connection is likely ok.

I would suspect windows decided to change the firewall profile on your network connection. If it thinks you are directly connected to the internet it will load a more restrictive set of rules.

You can completely disable the firewall for a short time and see if it changes anything

As a matter of fact, it was my computer. I reinstalled windows and it works perfectly. strange that that had to happen

I guess it is a good thing windows is so easy to reinstall. That is the sledgehammer approach but if it works it works.
