We have a LAN with Windows NT Pack 4 servers. A XP client is not able to
print to network printers. The Printers and Faxes window shows that the
network printers are "unable to connect", and the message says "Printer
spooler is not running". However, the spooler service is running on both the
NT server and the XP client. The printers are standalone printers set up on
the server via the Lexmark TCP/IP Network Port using their IP addresses..
Any suggestion is appreciated

Did you add the XP drivers for the printer to the NT 4 server? See

It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
