I recently downloaded a free VPN called "SoftEther". I've heard good things about it so I thought I'd try it out. I wasn't expecting it to be that amazing granted it is free. I connected to a US server with the highest speed listed. When I open Chrome and try to go to a website it takes ages to load, and usually just times out. Any solution?

Would there be any solution to that?

The vast majority of the so called free vpn services have extremely low bandwidth caps. Many outright block p2p traffic and only allow simple web traffic. There are some free ones that will work fine for simple web traffic but you are not going to find much that will let you run p2p. Someone has to pay for all that bandwidth.

You can get a bunch for between $5 and $10 a month. Is it really worth the pain to try to use a free service when you can get sites that outright say they support p2p with no bandwidth caps for a small amount of money.
