unable to connect windows 2000 pro to the domain

HI,
thanks in advance for the help.

When i try to connect the windows 2000 workstation to the
domain i am getting an error stating that "security
database on the server doesnot have a computer account for
this workstation trust relationship". hope somebody might
have faced this problem and can give a soln.
