I have been trying to create a bootable Win 11 usb for a new gaming PC but have not been having any luck.
I first downloaded the media creation tool and tried to install it on a usb. It continuously hanged at around 56% without progressing further or any errors.
I then installed Rufus and tried to install the iso but that also hung after 3.2% of copying the ISO files.
I have been trying to resolve this for the last 24 hours and am very close to losing my sanity :)

test with a different usb flash drive?
system spec?
I am using an ADATA C906 32 GB flash drive. My laptop spec is AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with 8 GB RAM. Don't have another usb flash drive. The one I used in brand new . Will have to get another one.

Use fdisk to flash the USB to 16GB and then format to NTFS. Tends to do the trick.

ExFAT causes problems for some systems when installing.

I did format the the USB to NTFS before trying to install the ISO with Rufus. Will try using fdisk. The Copying seems to hang at boot.wim

Cheap flash drive sucks, especially with tons of small files that needs to write to the flash drive. You could wait over an hour or forever if it's really slow.

Use Ventoy instead. You just copy a large ISO file to the drive. And you can have multiple ISO for different OS. Which will speed up the whole process.
