Unable to delete "nvidia corporation" folder...

I am uninstalling my Nvidia drivers manually to ensure nothing's left over, and am having difficulty removing the "Nvidia Corporation" folder from Program Files (x86). It keeps telling me that a "folder is in use". I did some googling and came across a thread suggesting that it might be some kind of shader cache setting causing the problem. Unfortunately I think the Nvidia control panel is already completely gone so I am unable to turn this setting off. So I was going to try to delete it following the location in this link (http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-337-88-whql-watch-dog-drivers) but there is no Nvidia folder in the Temp folder.

Would really appreciate any help to get past that warning. Thanks!

can you do it in Safe Mode?

check your services. end the nvidia related 1s then try deleting the folder.

use a boot able Linux distro, like puppy Linux, boot into the distro and delete the file from there.
