Unable to do a fresh install of windows

I just replaced my motherboard because my old one died and i decided to just do a fresh install of windows 7 since it won't let me boot normally. When it asks where to install windows i can choose between Disk 0 Unallocated space and Disk 0 Partition 1. For both of them it says that windows can't be installed to it because it has an MBR partition table and apparently it can only be installed to GPT disks. I have no idea what this means or how to go about fixing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Why don't you just delete all existing partitions and let Windows 7 make new ones?

Because i am an idiot and didn't realize i could do that. My bad.
