Unable to edit own posts

Is there a way to allow editing my own posts?

It is back to a half year now when I created a topic and realiezd something wrong since I was unable to edit any of my posts.

For now, a half year later the problem still persists and I'm still unable to edit my own posts in any new thread of mine.

Any idea?

Err, not even this topic... so

Edit:
Anytime I press on Edit button the interface comes up and after editing the post and pressing the "Submit" button i got the error message: "You are not allowed to edit this message! Back to previous page..."

There must be some hidden flag on your account. Some sort of corruption of the database.

Is this true for both the edit and quick edit buttons? We will be moving to a new forum platform soon so it's probably easier to wait for that. I can't fix it, would probably take an admin at this point.
