Hi everyone, so recently I decided to upgrade my Netgear router to one from the nighthawk series (AC2300). I recently got it all up and running without any issues what-so-ever. However, when I booted up my main gaming PC and attempted to connect to the internet, my wifi adapter is unable to find the 5GHz connection. My previous Netgear router also had a 5GHz connection and my adapter had 0 issues finding it and connecting. Ive tried restarting my computer as well as the internet, but that hasn't fixed anything. So far my phone and my mac laptop are able to find the 5GHz connection. Does anyone know a specific fix for this? Im running Win 10 with a Netgear AC600 Wifi Adapter

I looked at the user manual for both your adapter and your router and this baffling. I have a couple questions that might get us going in a direction.

1. Are you trying to connect to specific SSID that you don't see on the list or are you hitting the WPS button?
2. Do your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks have different SSIDs?
3. Did you change anything in the router configuration from the defaults?
