Unable to find support

So I have a Dell Inspiron 3250 ( i3 6100 variant) . After using cpu-z I was able to find that my motherboard was 0DNMV1 . However I am unable to find its max tdp support . The i3 has a max tdp of 51 W. I want to upgrade to an i5 6400 which has a tdp of 65 W. Plus I am unable to find whether if the i5 processor is supported by this motherboard. I searched and searched but was unable to find specs for this motherboard.

Any advice is appreciated 😀

Based off of this documentation you can drop in any 6th gen core i series processor part and your board is based off an H110 chipset. You'd probably need to perform a BIOS update before you can drop in the i5 of your choice that meets that TDP threshold.

As for the documentation , I had already gone through it and did notice it. But is there anyway that it can be totally confirmed that an i5 will be supported with this motherboard ? Cauz my biggest issue is me being unaware of the max tdp support of the motherboard.

in the specs it lists the unit as shipping with an i7 on the same chipset. IDK if it is the same motherboard though.

That's exactly what I am concerned about, whether it's the same motherboard. If it is , then I can move forward with the upgrade .

I am fairly certain based on the BIOS files available that the 3250 and the 3650 all share the same motherboard.
it makes more since financially speaking to keep the family 32xx on the same motherboard. system shipped with differing CPU but all the same chipset. it would be too costly to have a differing motherboard for each processor and that is counter to profits. think like DELL.
