Unable to initialize internal WD Green 3TB

Recently bought a new 3tb hard drive but When i try to initialize it just says "incorrect function". Have tried different cables and ports but still nothing. This will be my 3rd Internal Hard drive. I have an ssd for booting and a 500gb hard drive both working perfectly.

sounds dead on arrival... try on another pc otherwise return it for a replacement.
