Unable to install google crome

When i was searching something by mucrosoft edge and i saw a message "would you like to search by crome" , so i select yes and downloaded setup file. But after running it was downloading and after completion of download showing "installing" and instantly error message come on screen as "unable to install due to unknown error please close and install again".
Why this is showing like this?
What can i do?

Are you sure it was Chrome that was getting installed? It is very unusual for you to get that message. I would suggest doing a serious virus and malware check of the computer.
