Hello,
Probably the most bizarre and weirdest issue i have ever gotten but
I'm trying to repair my Visual Basic 2010 installation and every time i try to run the installer it pops up with "Setup.hta is not a valid Win32 Application"
Weird thing is... that i have successfully runned the very same installer on the very same computer and on the very same Windows 7 installation and it worked just fine, i was just trying to repair my broken Visual Basic 2010 installation
Take note that there is a chance that i was infected by that CCleaner virus, i'm completely unsure of it though, i runned a full scan on everything with Malwarebytes but nothing showed up
Could it be a Hard Drive failure?
The Visual Basic 2010 installation was on my SSD while the installer was on my hard drive
i had two copies of the same installer, both of those copies have the same issue, so because of that the chances of a hard drive failure are alot less
But what's the problem then?
