UNABLE TO JOIN PLEASE HELP

Hey I need help my friend has windows 98, we used to play
age of kings al lthe tie but then he got DSL and now we
cant play it says UNABLE TO JOIN GAME, he has no firewall
or router and we tried so many things to fix it please

Hi Edward,

Sounds like there's a NAT based firewall in your DSL Modem:

Call the tech support for that unit, and ask them to either setup a
"DMZ" (De-Militarized Zone which means the firewall is disabled)
to bypass the built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the
equipment with you... Here's the List of all Ports used by Zone

(See your router's manual or that website for self help instructions)

Note: For online protection, turn on your Windows XP firewall. 🙂
