Unable to Open copied Bitlocker files

Hi, i had to format and re-install my pc recently to add an ssd. I copied files from one of my bitlocker encrypted drive to an external HDD. I am not able to open those files after re-installing my PC. A lock symbol appears on each file.
After re-install, bitlocker is disabled on all drives.
i have bitlocker password and key with me.


Is there a way to open those files?
Please help.

As Bitlocker encrypts entire volumes, not individual files, that password and recovery key are useless for any files copied off of the now destroyed volume still in an encrypted state. This is when you restore from your backup.
