[SOLVED] Unable to Open Port 25565

Solution
Hi, I had the same issue when I was creating my Minecraft server.

I tried everything, firewall in ESET, firewall in router.

And all port checkers said that the port is closed. Anyway I played with my friends, they were able to connect to me.

Try at least for a second turn off all firewall both router and your computer, try smart port forwarding (https://smart-port-forwarding.apponic.com/ ) and be sure your Minecraft configuration file is correctly filled.

Make sure your PC has static IP, you can easily set it up on your own (control panel/network settings/network adapter settings/IPv4).

I wish you luck.

Hi. Sometimes the online port checker will always say the port is closed even though it's not. If you'd like you could allow someone from outside your internet connection to connect to it. I'd do it if you want. But when I used to run a server from my house the canyouseeme would always say it was closed when it wasn't.
