I have an intel celeron 667 and been trying to overclock it, but i have no jumper pins on the motherboard nor can i set it through the cmos boot up part. i had heard that there was a software that i can get to do this. have a clue what this program is called and where to get it.

The best program is called SoftFSB. The other one is called CPUFSB. You can search the net to find a download site. These tools require you to either know which board you have (and that board to be on the list) or which clock generator you have.

the best that i could find through research is the mercury motherboard with the intel 810e chip set with 4 pci slots and 2 ram slots, and no agp

You'll have to go by your clock generator model to use SoftFSB, as that board isn't listed by name. The clock generator is probably close to the CPU and about 1cm wide by 2cm long (around 1/2 inch wide by 1 inch long). I've never actually measured one, but those approximations are probably close enough to help you find it. It has a lot of thin connectors on both edges.
