Unable to partition my hdd

I've windows 7 on 1 TB hdd. There is 500 gb unallocated space. When I try to partition this space, a warning comes that "marked volume will be converted to logical drive and you won't be able to boot your OS." If I still proceed then all primary volumes become logical and blue marks turn orange and I'm not able to load OS. I've tried installing windows thrice after same error but still unallocated space not usable.

Tried windows installer as well as disk management for format

You can only have 4 physical partitions. After that, all you can have is logical ones.

Hi there ZEEDEESINGH,

Could you provide a screenshot of Disk Management?

I would agree with wpgwpg. You can extend your last partition though.
