Unable to perform Factory reset on Laptop

I own a HP Notebook with Window 7 Home premium(x64). During purchase it came with set of recovery discs, which are still in good condition. 2 years back i accidentally formatted my recovery partition and didn't realize the same until i started having problem with my boot up. Now since the recovery partition is gone, i unable to do a factory reset. I do Have a Win 7 (X32) ultimate & Win7(X32) professional Discs which i purchased from my University Store during my PG. But both these discs are not booting in my cd rom. I'm out of my wits. If some one can pls help me with it would be much appreciated.

Sounds like the DVD rom is gone then. You would need to use another PC to make a USB bootable windows install.

I Don't think so. My movie disc are still reading and my other software cd are loading. could it be so that my CD rom is having problem with bootable disc alone.
