hello all,
having a lot of trouble installing windows xp on new system (965p-ds3/segate320sata2/2gbcorsair/7600gt/c2d1.Cool heres my problem when i install xp sp1 or xpsp2(slipstreamed using nlite) after a successful install/formate it reboots but instead of loading the windows config(timezone, serial #) after post i just get a black screen.

just in case it matter i'm using xp upgarde edtion

i was able to install xp properly using f6 disk that i made from MB driver disk but thought that might cause a conflict since i believe it is specificially for GB controller and i'm using intel port.

i think i got it figured out now switch hd to from sata port 0 to 1 and hooked up an old ps/2 keyboard its weird that my usb kb works fine for every thing except press any key to boot from disk. seems to have installed properly now.

one more question right now i chose to not reformat and just install over previous windows folder(from unsuccessful attempt at installing) is it fine or should i reformat again and install fresh?
