Card was being noisy. Thought would try turning it off. Assumed i had integrated graphics. Apparently not. Disabled this PCIE port in Bios. Afterwards screen went blank. Every time turned on now get 3 long beeps 3 short. Believe it is HP code for screwed up graphics card. Removed CMOS battery overnight. Did nothing. Could the port still be turned off? I also reset graphics card.

So to clarify please see comment below for spec. Not sure how to reply to my own post and posting from phone out of necesity. Hp are coming to collect tomorrow but this such an important week for me that if i can get it working and cancel them it would make a huge difference to me.

Leaving the machine running after the beeps and the grraphics card fan does start running but nothing else. Any ideas?

1. when you removed the cmos battery did you disc onnect the power cord from your computer?
normally you unplug power cord, then remove cmos battery and wait 2-3 mins

2. you told BIOS to not use the video card ? really ? there is such an option in the Ryzen bios (which contains no internal video card) ?
what make and model of motherboard are you using ?

Guys thank you so much. Im stuck without my computer and i have so much stress on me that i really dont have time for it to go in for repair!

I have tried to look up the motherboard type but couldnt find it using my phone. I do know the spec and that it is an HP motherboard i believe made by them (they do make their own or at least someone else does and they rebrand it).

It is a hp omen 800-017na
