Unable to run Nook HD+ on a Windows 10 Pro x64 client

I have a Nook HD+ eReader that I really like.

In the past month I have moved my ebooks from one Win 10 Pro X64 client to another but when I plug in the Nook I now get warnings and opening them takes me to a Barnes & Noble (Nook provider) webpage saying to install a run once configure program.

Barnes & Noble no longer support Nook and sell different ereaders thus the software is no longer available.

<EDIT>
In writing up this query I plugged the Nook into the old computer and updated a book, plugging it back into the new machine it now seems to recognize the Nook HD+.

I continue to write this up in case someone else experiences the "issue" and this can help them figure a way forward.

Thanks,
Ian

I can't find that run-once configure program. B&N have discontinued the Nook HD+ and the downloads on their support site are beyond sparse. Or as I said in the first post "Barnes & Noble no longer support Nook and sell different ereaders thus the software is no longer available."

My observation would be that I had run that program on my older client. "... plugging it (the NookHD+) back into the new machine it now seems to recognize the Nook HD+. " With the device available for adding books again I have not investigated any further.
