Unable to share network

So im stationed overseas at the moment, living in the barracks quarters...there is an internet provider called Babtel.net. they're decent. i am attempting to connect my xbox to the internet using my desktop's wifi connection and when i bridge my ethernet and wifi, the xbox and connect to the network but not the internet, and i am thinking it's because the IPS has an internet login page everytime you want to use the internet, so my question after all my babbling is, is there anyway i can bypass that "can't share" option and connect my xbox to the internet using my ethernet cable? i tried using my ASUS PCE-AC56 as a hotspot, the xbox can connect and download update but it isnt fast enough to play online games. im really set on finding a workaround to connect the xbox using the ethernet cable.

Why not just connect the XBOX to the same WiFi connection that your desktop is at? Or is this a cell modem and not WiFi?

And yes, the internet logon page would cause issues for you. You'd want to check with the ISP on how to hook up the device.
