unable to update driver

hello guys,i have a core i3 desktop with vga gtx 950.whenever i turn on the desktop i have to update my nvidia driver to have a better display and resolution but when i restart my comp the changes are gone and i have to do the update again.How do i fix the changes?

Are you installing the driver from nVidia's site? Does it actually complete the setup with no issues? Did you check the driver version before and after you do this to make sure the updated drivers are installed?
