Question Unable to use miracast

Hi, I've recently bought a Smart TV and a usb wi-fi adapter alongside it, so that I could stream my desktop to my TV wirelessly via Miracast. The problem is that I can connect my laptop but not my desktop, and I've already confirmed that my desktop supports Miracast. The TV just won't show up on the devices to connect to. How could I fix this? P.S. Both desktop and laptop were connected to the same network, at 5G and 802.11ac, laptop worked, desktop didn't.

Update your post to include desktop's full hardware specs and OS.

How did you confirm that Miracast is supported?

Any error messages or pop-up Windows with respect to failed Miracast-TV connections?
