Unacceptable Frames in fallout 4

Hello i have a very high end system but for some reason i still drop into the low 40s on fallout 4 while just wandering around in downtown boston.

i7 7700k 4.20 ghz
Nvidia GTX 1080 TI 11gb founders edition
16gb DDR4 ram 2133 mhz
Corsair H100I V2 CPU cooler

And the reason i say this is unacceptable Frames is because one simple reason.....I'm playing at 1080p, 1080p on a gtx 1080ti, a video card made for 4k gaming at 60 fps.

Updated drivers?
What is your CPU, GPU and motherboard temps?
What kind of PSU you got?


And you are correct. Something is wrong. I have the same CPU running at 5,1Ghz but I "only" got the 1080.
Still I never drop belov 59-60 fps with all setting set to max at 1080p

When I was playing that game i remember seeing several people with the 1080ti who had inconsistent frames.. maybe check steam forums.
