So I recently upgraded my ancient CPU, Motherboard, and RAM. After setting everything up and fixing the kinks in the system, I was able to get Windows to boot stably. However my system was unactivated and Windows support said my product key was "blocked". I was okay with not having Windows be activated so I continued to use my PC as normal. However, Windows tried to update, and failed because i was unactivated. So it displayed this message upon boot "We Couldn't Complete the Updates, Undoing changes, Don't turn off your computer" So I let it "undo changes". It restarted my computer and upon boot, it displays the message again, ""We Couldn't Complete the Updates, Undoing changes, Don't turn off your computer" It restarted again, displayed the same message, and this loop happened a couple more times until I was fed up. I turned off the system by holding down the power button, which blue screened it on boot. I restarted and the system booted up normally. However, sometimes when I shut down it goes back into that loop. I have gotten into the habit of only putting my computer to sleep. How can I prevent this annoying loop from happening again?
