Unallocated space help

Help. I installed a new hard drive and the majority of the space is Showing as not allocated. I have been trying for a week to fix this. I have read everything and I think I've tried everything. My c drive now has so little space the laptop will barely run. Please help

Is your C drive a small ssd? With an e drive hd?

That's what I'm confused about. C drive is 58 gb and completely full. D drive had about 250 gb on it and I have about 640 gb unallocated.

What is the c drive? If it's a tiny ssd windows and 1-2 games is all you can put on it, d drive is for storage

I assume it is just the partitioned hard drive. It is 58 gb and basically has the operating system on it. The d drive has about 250 gig on it. believe the old hard drive failed so installed a new TB hard drive and is showing me all the old data and configuration along with over 640 GB of unallocated space. I have no idea what's going on

New hard drive on a Dell laptop with Windows 7. I see the extra storage as unallocated. Also getting an error in the boot diagnostics that says "missing operating system". I don't understand because I can open windows. Biggest problem right now is C drive is so full computer will barely function. Been working on it for a week. Read everything and think I've tried everything. Ready to give up. Please help.
