Unbelievably High Temp

My Amd FX-8350 apparently hit 225 degrees celsius at some point while I was gaming. I was testing the temps on my graphics card to see about overclocking and took a glance at my cpu's max temp on CPUID HWMonitor and was shocked. I haven't replaced my thermal paste in 6 months and I'm using the stock heatsink and fan. I've also experienced no major fps drops while gaming to suggest that my cpu is throttling due to high temps. My thoughts rn is its a bug with CPUID HWMonitor and was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts.

Thats a reading error, the only accurate way to measure FX series temperatures is checking thermal margin in AMD overdrive.

yeah,i have one fan that shows 67,500 rpm on occasion.doesnt mean thats what its doing.lol
