Uncapping

Hi, I would like to uncap my ASUS DSL-N12U router to a higher bandwidth because my ISP is lowering my subscriped bandwidth which is 2mb that's about 256KB download speed, but I only get about 30 KB and that's just offensive
And I can't get a actual response from calling them cuz i live in Syria and every thing is going to hell so they don't care that much especially my ISP is owned by the government

It is likely not capped, normally this is caused by over utilization of their network or errors on cable between your house and the telco.

Even if they did intentionally cap it they would not do it in YOUR router. They would do it in the equipment on their side of the network. You can get passed site and ip filters but things that limit or cap traffic cannot be bypassed from the end user side.

Your router does not have anything to do with the issue, the only way to get faster speeds is to get faster speed from the ISP. It's like asking to get a faster car by changing the size of the gas pedal, won't do much if you keep the same engine.
