Hello, I recently bought 8 GB (2x4) of ddr3 panram falcon ram and have had nothing but problems. Windows only boots when this option in msconfig > boot > Advanced > maximum memory is checked, but when this is checked I only have 3.5 usable ram

Not necessarily.

Can you post screen captures of the CPU-Z Memory and SPD tab pages?

Here's an example of what I would like to see:

revision 1.1 i belive but i could be wrong, the BIOS is on f7

The Hardware Reserved is exactly where your problem resides. It points to incompatible DIMMs or incorrect memory mapping setting(s) in BIOS.

I don't know if you have any memory hole remapping settings in your BIOS version but if you do it should be enabled.

Have you changed the motherboard and/or CPU without reinstalling the Operating System?

Nope, havent changed motherboard or CPU, Can you explain what memory hole remapping is? sorry I'm really new
