Unclear image with Radeon HD 4870 on Win 10

Hi,
I have dug up an old placeholder GPU until my MX 580 gets delivered (1 month + waiting time)...
However, the image is very fuzzy / pixlerated. It is not only text, but all graphics. At the moment I have 1280 x 720 resolution, but if I turn it up it gets worse.
I have used the driver which Device manager in win updated to. but am unable to locate any other win 10 drivers.

I'm using driver version 8.970.100.9001

I have not found any clear solution elsewhere on the internet.

Any help would be appreciated !

Windows 10, fully updated.

HD 4000 series is only a DirectX 10 card.

AMD lists driver support up to Windows 8.1, which you are now using.

Windows 10 is listed by AMD as not supported by AMD for that card.

Yes this card is designed for Apple computers, not Windows. Also, it does not support Windows 10
