unconventional memory

I am trying to upgrade to win me and every time I try I get a msg saying that I have unconventional memory. I have tried from a clean install and the same the. I have 128mb/ram and amd450.

Surely you've got sdram and not edo ram. There shouldn't be any problems whether you're running pc-100 or pc-66. The only thing I can think of is a bad chip/card on your memory. What's your motherboard, and how many ram slots do you have filled with that 128mb?

thanks i have 2@64 and i got an aopen board that i took out of mine and put in my brothers. I worked fine in mine and i know that the memory is fine, I had it tested
