Hi folks.

I am currently on a market for PSU as an upgrade for my trusty old Corsair TX650V2. I am thinking of getting a 750W unit but if there is a better deal for 850W unit I might go for that. So, I would like to hear your experiences/opinion about these power supplies:

Seasonic S12G 750W-non modular cables are not really a problem for me, small dimensions is an advantage for this PSU. The ones sold here is still using ADDA fans which I am not fond of. Price: 123 USD

Seasonic M12ii EVO 750W or 850W-I would like to try modular PSU but apparently many said that these PSU has loud fan noise. The ones sold here in Malaysia are still using ADDA fans unlike some market that are using Hong Hua FDB fans which maybe quieter. Price: 109 USD for 750W version and 123 USD for 850W one.

Super Flower Leadex gold 750W-Many seems to praise this PSU but the fans is somewhat a turnoff for me. Is it really FDB fan? Any owners have problems with those fans in any of your PSU? Price 117 USD

Super Flower Leadex gold 850W-Based on review this one is using ball bearing fan and basically the same as EVGA 850W unit. Both Super FLower PSU seem to be on the long side. Will it have enough clearance for me to fit a 120mm fan on the bottom part of my Coolermaster CM690III? Price: 134 USD
----------------------------------
I also have a question regarding PCIe cables. Since many PSU nowadays have two 6+2 sockets in a single cable will it safe to use that or it still needs 2 separate cables for safe operation?
------------------------------------
There is also a question in my head whether I should get either one of the above PSU at all IF I decide to get a GTX 970 or R9 390 instead since I actually game in 1080p.
--------------------------------
For your reference this is my current build:
Intel i7 3770 ivy bridge
Asus Z77 VL-K
Corsair TX650V2
Kingston Hyper X fury 1600 RAM 16gb
Prolimatech Megahalems
2x HDD at the HDD bay and 3 more inside Orico 6203ss
coolermaster cm 690iii
Lamptron FC4
Samsung SyncMaster 2243 & BenQ T2200HD monitor

As you can see currently I don't have graphic card and rely on intel graphics.

Planning to get an SSD in the near future

Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post.

The EVGA 650 G2 or Super Flower equivalent is more than enough for your build with upgrades. The seasonics are good but have 120mm fans which are not as quiet as the 140mm fans on the EVGA units, which also have eco mode to make them even quieter. The EVGA units have double ball bearing fans.

Get an EVGA PSU. 850W is overkill if you can not afford both. Save the money you would spend on SLI, and get Nvidia's new Pascal GPU's coming out Q2 2016. They have much better efficiency and power. Get a 650W Gold. If you only plan on playing at 1080p get the 970 and just wait for the Pascal next year cause the 970 is overkill much less the 980ti. I own both (one in each separate computers) and the only reason I got the 980ti was for my Gsync 1440p monitor. If you don't have 1440p or 4k, get a single 970 and a slightly better PSU.
