Hey, Guys.

My PC has Asus Z170-AR Motherboard with i7-6700K, EVGA GTX-1070-SC and Corsair Vengeance LPX C16 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz RAM Kit. I use Windows 10 as Main OS and sometimes Linux or Hackintosh on the side. I built it last November and six Months I had completely no prominent issues with the build. I'm an Avid Gamer and an Enthusiast so usually I tend to push my PC to its limits, though have never Overclocked yet. In June, When I was playing JustCause 3 I started facing 'game has stopped' problem five to ten minutes into the game constantly from the very first time. This has never happened to me before in any other game this frequently (every single time). Double checking every possible problem on the game files and system files side I decided to fresh reinstall Windows, but even then the problem persisted. Keen to try out some other game, when I tried to install a few others, they now newly faced problems with the uncompression and install (I use Compressed Repacks to save space). After literally weeks together of google search to identify the problem, one forum stated issue might be with memory. So I immediately ran MEMTEST86+. To my shock a series of errors popped up, especially when running Test 11. To verify the results, I ran MEMTEST86 (no plus) and confusingly enough it's showing zero errors how many ever times I re ran the test. Considering MEMTEST86 to be the one that's DDR4 optimized and up-to-date maintenance should be accurate enough, I checked for slot configuration errors reconfigured XMP settings, latency timings and all. All were good and no problem. I even checked for CPU pin bends but everything was good. A friend told to check if my ram sticks were listed in the MoBo QVL. Unfortunately My particular Ram kit weren't present but then I read that these QVLs are just for reference and are not quite vast or updated.

Now I'm completely lost with this issue. I don't know what exactly is causing the problem. I'm convinced the problem is with the memory side but I want to be sure and also pinpoint issue on either MoBo or Ram. I don't have spare Ram sticks to check with my PC and none of my friends run DDR4 capable PC to check my Ram. My only option is warranty, but I don't know which part to claim. I want to be 100% sure before warranty claim because here in India warranty claims can take upto a month and sometimes even more. Someone please help me solving this issue. I tried and no one has stated a similar issue anywhere on the internet.

Also to mention, My Mobo is reacting weird to 2400MHz Ram. It's default non-XMP supported frequency is 2133MHz. My Ram sticks with or without XMP run at 1866MHZ. Yet another issue I'm facing with no solution. I don't think this might be the reason to my main issue, but anyways worth mentioning.

Solution
Because there's a lot of variables at play that may not all show in just an hour or two of testing.
Sometimes even the hottest part of the day, when the room that the system is in gets up to 10º hotter than at night, can be enough to make a difference.

Basically, the longer you test the more you'll be sure of the results. You can be the judge on how much is enough.
