Budget Range: Under 900 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Graphic Design, Surfing

Parts Not Required: OS, Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg preferably or somewhere I can buy it all at once

Parts Preferences: I would like to use the I5 2500k
And either the 560ti or the Radeon 6870
Anything that will basically let me play skyim on ultra/high settings and crysis on high/ultra, and CoD.
Just to max out games pretty much

Overclocking: Yes /

SLI or Crossfire:Maybe in the future... I have a small overview of what this is so if someone could explain

Monitor Resolution: Im on a vizio 32 inch... So whatever that would be... would I need an HDMI to connect it all?

Im open to anything....I've been looking around at MOBOs (which i have 0 knowledge of) and I've heard good stuff about the ASrock p67 pro3 b3?

Asus P67 is what I use, and its great. Also using the EVGA 560 ti fermi, and I love it.

Have 8 gigs of gskill gaming ram, at the time cost me like 45 bucks, but prob can find it cheaper now.

I would definitely recommend getting a 64 gig or 120 gig solid state, and using the 1 TB as a backup. If you are going to play Skyrim, a Solid state would increase performance quite noticeably. If thats too expensive, then perhaps a 10k rpm drive. Skyrim isn't internet based, so since its going to be a system based game and not lag city like WoW, hard drives play an important role.

I am using an Intel 510 Elmcrest 120gig and I have near instant load times. Its the best upgrade you can possibly buy for anything...and Windows 7 Trim helps, along with Intels Toolbox which tracks and keeps the drive in tip top shape.

yeah ill probably just go with the 560ti.
It seems to be fine for what im doing, and i think ill only be playing in 1080p for now

the cpu you picked is great, in fact I use the exact one and I OC it to 3.7ghz.

Motherboard, just go to newegg, and look for a 1155 board that supports SLI. My board doesn't, and thats fine, because one card is more than enough for me to run these games.
