Hello, I've had my PC for about 2 years now. Decided to run it through the GPUBenchmark test to see how it's going compared to the same builds- everything's pretty decent scoring over 80%, except my RAM which is under-performing at around 60%.
I've not modified or touched anything in BIOS so all the settings are set to default.

General PC Stats:
OS- Windows 10 64-bit
CPU- Intel Core i7-7700 @3.60GHz
GPU- NVIDIA Strix 1070 8GB
MB- Asus Prime Z270-A Gaming

Thank you for your time, please let me know if you need any more info.

Awesome, doing that actually boosted my CPU and RAM score significantly. However, I'm still kinda concerned about my GPU score...

I feel like it should be doing much better. I use this PC for sound engineering and gaming, so I expected it to take a toll on the CPU and RAM but adding your tweak into the mix really made them shine through- that fact put aside, I don't do any visual rendering, streaming or anything of the sorts; only thing I utilize my GPU for is gaming at 1080p, 144hz. Got any ideas regarding how I should go about troubleshooting that?

Alrighty, just got through another test with afterburner running in the back this time as suggested. Here's the new stats the GPU got: https://imgur.com/a/8RSjMIB
Temp: Min : 33, Max : 59
Reckon that could be the issue or could it be due to the possibility that most other people doing the test have their 1070 overclocked? As with the RAM and CPU, I've left my GPU at it's default settings.

Your temperatures are pretty good. I guess its as you said that most people overclock their cards (or are overclocked pretty heavily out of the box).
The Test said that your Card was running at max. 1911 mhz Corespeed. A 1070 can get up to 2050mhz an even higher on good samples with the Core and way more on Memory 😀

I do not own a 10XX Series card since im still stuck with my 960 ( cries in 1080p 75fps) so im not a 100% sure^^

Alrighty, sounds about right. I feel ya, I had the 960 for about 3-4 years before upgrading to the 1070! Still a pretty decent budget GPU to this day. Thanks for all the help!

Yeah thats true! Probably going to buy a 1080/ti in a few months with hopefully prices dropping a bit 😀
Or i wait for 2060, not sure yet.
Anyway, as long as my 960 works im happy^^

No problem :)
