Hello all,
I have a netbook which supports only ddr3 800mhz. Can I use a ddr3 1600mhz?
The current 1GB memory stick in the netbook is 1333mhz, which must have also been underclock.

The netbook has no brand, has an Intel Atom D425 and Intel NM10 as chipset. It has only one memory slot.

Solution

depends on the RAM , some can take higher voltages , but I would not mix different VOLT RAMS, too risky . and you cant control the voltage in the bios in notebooks.

by the way DDR3 1333mhz are not available in 1.8v ... check again . they are euther 1.5v or 1.65v
