I am building my first PC with:
MSI MPG X670S Carbon Gaming
AMD Ryzen 7700X
From what I can find, the CPU supports up to DDR5 6000 MHz (although the motherboard supports up to 6600 MHz) and that running faster RAM leads to instability. My question is this, will it work if I install 6200 MHz and then slow it down to 6000 MHz? Either by lowering the voltage or custom speed settings in the bios.
