Underclocking the fx 8320

Good day community, i was wondering if down clocking my fx 8320 to 3.2 ghz would reduce its tdp to about 95w since the fx 8300 has a tdp of 95w and a base clock of 3.2ghz.

Why would one want to underclock an already inefficient chip?

But yes it could be possible i guess, make sure to undervolt it also, that will effect power consumption/heat more then underclocking.
