Underperformance :gpu cpu

I own a gtx 1080ti rog strix 8gb ddr4 ram and i5 7500 and psu 600w. i play games at 1080p .I play overwatch on ultra as well as other games and i dont get over 100 fps around 60-80. Dont know whats wrong. This is gtx 1080ti we're talking about. Cpu is used 80-100% and gpu is 30-50%. I ve seen other benchmarks with thes and it wasnt as bad as mine.Pls help

Since your CPU is almost pegged, you have a CPU bottleneck.

At 1080p the CPU is stressed more. I would suggest either upgrading to a 1440p 144Hz monitor or getting a faster CPU (i7-7700K??). You still might need a faster CPU for 1440p I'm not sure.

I own an asus rog strix gtx 1080ti paired with an i5 7500 and 8gb of ddr4 ram.I play overwatch and gpu uses like 95% and gets 80 fps in 1080p!! I have a 144hz monitor and i've spent a lot to get this gpu and it is under-performing so much. My friend has a 1070 and gets 160fps+. I do not understand what is wrong . At first i thought it was a cpu bottleneck but it is not used 100% and it is overwatch we re talking about. It is strictly gpu dependent.

The problem is that gpu is 89% load and CPU 50% which should be the other way around. Gtx 1080ti in 1080p shouldn't be breaking a sweat and if it did it should be well over 100fps
